SETUP Instructions

The Message Center system will provide voice prompts to guide you through the options and functions available. In order to choose an option given, enter the first letter of the option you wish selected. Example: when the system asks you to "Press modify", press the number 6 corresponding to the "M" on your telephone. 
YOUR SEVEN DIGIT VOICE BOX # IS ___________________________

When accessing the Message Center for initial setup dial one of the backdoor numbers: 513-619-7979 or 937-496-6161. You will hear a recorded message instructing you to "Enter your subscriber ID # followed by "*"." You may enter the Subscriber ID # followed by "*" any time during the greeting but this must be done before the greeting is complete. You will be transferred directly into your box and instructed to enter your pass-code followed by "*".
GETTING STARTED PASS CODE: Use 4629 (4MAX)

PASS CODE: Your Pass-code may be any combination of 3 to 8 numbers. You may change your pass-code any time from the Modify / Setup Menu.

NAME: Recording your Name Announcement identifies your box. This announcement differs from your Outgoing Greeting. This is heard by callers should you erase your Outgoing Greeting.

GREETING: Record your Outgoing Greeting that will be heard by callers. The outgoing greeting time can be up to 30 seconds long. If you want to re-record your greeting at any time, use the Modify / Setup Menu.

That's all there is to it! To enter your voice box after these steps, simply:

Dial your 7-digit voice mail number
During your greeting, press '"*"
Enter your pass-code number


Note: Due to paging system limitations, audio will still remain slightly lower than an average phone call. For any greeting changes, we suggest you use the local back door number which temporarily bypasses the paging system, and allows an improved audio greeting recording.
